Blessed Rose Petals

It has long been custom in the Dominican Order to bless rose petals in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary for the healing of the sick and for spiritual protection. These blessed rose petals are a Roman Catholic sacramental, and have been blessed by a Dominican priest. They do not confer the grace of the Holy Spirit in the way a sacrament does, but drawing their power from the Paschal Mystery of Christ, the prepare us to receive grace and dispose us to cooperate with it. Blessed Rose Petals come in a resealable clear plastic packet, with a prayer card and leaflet. Because they have been blessed, there is no specific charge for them. We would be grateful for a modest donation to help us cover the cost of packaging, leaflet and postage: suggested offering $2 per packet.  Colors of roses constantly vary, so we cannot fulfill requests for specific colors.
